Knoop/Vickers Hardness Testers are widely used for determining the hardness of small precision parts, thin materials or wires, coatings, and performing case depth determinations. Knoop/Vickers testing covers the spectrum of hardness testing that is also commonly referred to as microhardness or macrohardness testing.
400 Series Knoop/Vickers Hardness Testers
The 400 Series Knoop/ Vickers Hardness Testers are versatile, user-friendly hardness testers for quality assurance or metallurgical research. Providing an affordable and reliable solution for accurate Vickers and Knoop hardness scale testing, the tester features an automatic turret and crisp optics that have a total magnification of 100x and 400x. The system features eight dial selectable test forces ranging from 10 gf- 2 kg (see specifications). For easy sample mounting, models are equipped with a 100 x 100 mm precision XY-Stage with 25 mm movement in each direction.
