Wilson® Hardness is the originator of the Rockwell® Hardness Tester. Rockwell hardness testing methods are a fast and reliable approach to determine the hardness of metals, alloys, small precision parts, wires, and in some cases, plastics. The Rockwell hardness scales cover a range from the softest bearings to the hardest steels
Rockwell 574 Series Hardness Testers
The Rockwell® 574 Hardness Tester is a proven, durable, and reliable deadweight testing instrument. This system is available in Regular, Superficial or Twin Scale models and capable of testing in all of the regular Rockwell hardness scales (60, 100, and 150 kg major test forces), superficial Rockwell hardness scales (15, 30, and 45 kgf major test forces) and can accommodate a wide variety of applications. The Rockwell 574 Hardness Tester includes a rugged industrial design, a brand new user-friendly LCD panel, and a built-in USB port for rapid data transfer to Microsoft® Excel® or other applications. All Rockwell 574 Series Hardness Testers are equipped with a powerful auto-braking system on preload ensuring seamless operation, as well as a high-precision depth measurement system for accurate and repeatable testing. The 574 Series Rockwell Hardness Testers offer quality, durability, and an industry leading Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) making this hardness testing instrument best in class.
Rockwell 2000 Series Hardness Testers
The Rockwell® 2000 Series Hardness Testers achieve the highest level of depth measurement accuracy and resolution available. This instrument is equipped with a unique closed-loop electronic force measuring system and a highly accurate “in-line” depth measuring technology for fast, precise, and reliable testing. The Rockwell 2000 offers a very simplistic approach towards testing with a single button press to operate, as well as a flexible and user-friendly LCD control panel for method set up and configuration. This instrument is offered in two sizes ranging from 10 - 14 in of vertical testing capacity to accommodate varying sample sizes and is available in three different variations of Rockwell Regular, Superficial, or Twin hardness scales.
Rockwell BRIRO R Hardness Tester
The Briro R Series Hardness Testers offers a combination of extremely solid and long-lasting mechanics along with a very high testing accuracy for Rockwell and Brinell hardness scales. This allows for easy and comfortable user operation, as well as the ability to test to a variety of applications. While the BRIRO R is suitable for testing of single and small parts, the BRIRO Automatic is designed for testing larger work pieces and higher testing volume per day.
