YXLON Feinfocus X-Ray Tech
X-ray inspection helps the electronics industry meet the demand for greater miniaturization while achieving better yield, reliability and performance at lower cost. Y.COUGAR

The Y.COUGAR is ideal for any failure analysis and assembly environment, as it features a small foot-print (1 m x 1 m), low system weight (approx. 1,450 kg),and convenient front and side door service access. The operator console can be adjusted in both height and position, allowing for maximum flexibility. An easily accessible sliding door with an automatic X-Ray on/off feature offers safe sample loading.

The Y.COUGAR comes in two initial configurations: the cost-effective Failure Analysis(F/A) model and the more advanced Surface Mount Technology(SMT) model. The standard platform offers users a wide array of features, including an open Microfocus X-Ray Tube up to160 kV and a FEINFOCUS real-time image processing system. Users can then add advanced features, such as a multifocus X-Ray Tube, Direct Digital Detector (DDD), 16 bit imaging chain, and proprietary True X-Ray Intensity (TXI) control, an award-winning technology that controls the output level of X-Ray intensity for 100% consistency in X-Ray images.
Y.TIGER

The Y. TIGER is ideal for any 24/7 production environment, as the unique and ergonomic design of the system requires minimal floor space. The system features convenient front service access for easy maintenance. The superior anti-collision capability eliminates the need for distracting viewing windows. The automatic sliding door and easily accessible X-Ray on/off feature allow for safe and efficient sample loading. All information is displayed through the Comet Graphical User Interface (FGUI) on the flat screen, which is adjustable according to the operator's preference.
Y.FOX

The μCT-FOX is the first industrial X-Ray Inspection System to include both 2D and 3D modalities for detailed inspection and analysis of complex electronic devices. It combines award-winning high-resolution 2D X-Ray technology with state-of-the-art 3D Computed Tomography capability and high-end volume rendering software. The system generates 3D imagery to visualize the innermost components and precise structural modeling of a device. Cracks, voids, delamination, and other crucial anomalies are depicted in their actual 3D position, providing valuable insight into the design and manufacturing processes of these devices. This ability makes the FEINFOCUS μCT-FOX System ideally suited for sensor, MEMS/MOEMS, medical device, and complex electro-mechanical component inspection applications. CT technology can be combined with Micro- and Nanofocus X-Ray Inspection Solutions for the detailed examination and 3D visualization of covered structures. In a CT scan a multitude of 2D X-Ray images are taken in a 360° circle by rotating the region of interest within the X-Ray beam cone. The images are subsequently reconstructured into a 3D visualization model that can be further viewed, virtually sliced, sectioned, etc. for the effective evaluation of material defects.
